Rocking Chair Redo

I found this great little rocking chair at the thrift store...

I painted it using my daughter's bedroom wall color, aqua...

And made up these piped cushions.

I made simple ties to keep them in place on the rocker.

The back cushion measures approx. 17x14" and the seat cushion measures approx. 14x14".

The top panel on both cushions are quilted using a pebble pattern through the white sections.  All the printed fabrics are from Heather Ross' Far Far Away II collection.  The aqua piping and ties are made from very fine corduroy, that I've had in my stash.  Each cushion also has a zipper so they are removable for washing.  I followed this tutorial for their construction (except for the piping, which I did in my usual way).

The chair itself was sanded, primed with Kilz2, painted with semi and sealed with clear gloss.
