Anna Maria Horner Velveteen

I've had this chair since 2009 (wow, I had to look that up) and redid it originally in Denyse Schmidt posies. But ever since than I've been dying to paint the wood and update it...

I LOVE the new version SO MUCH!  EVERYTHING is better with fabric from Anna Maria Horner!

The fabric is from Anna Maria Horner's Loulouthi Velveteen collection.  It's super soft and the colors are just so vibrant, even in profile.

The edges are lined in double piping with the same fabric.  I lost my zipper foot (which is what I use to make piping) and had to order a new one, and it arrived yesterday.  So I jumped right into finishing this chair first thing this morning.

I'M IN LOVE!

Note: For anyone who's interested the wood has 1 coat of 'Kilz 2', 3 coats of white semi and 3 coats of Varathane gloss.
