While waiting to match solids to
this project and waiting for packages to arrive for
this project, I started a new project, lol...

I am THRILLED to cut into my Innocent Crush stash finally!!! If you've read any of my other posts you know that Anna Maria Horner is my FAVORITE designer, her Garden Party line takes up a considerable amount of space in my current fabric stash.

SO MUCH COLOR!!! The saturation in her collections kills me! Just GORGEOUS!!! Plus I love all the pointy shadows above ;) I'm hoping when we finally move I might be able to convince my husband to buy me one of her beautiful rugs.

I regretted not making the
Garden Party quilt I made big enough for our bed, so this one is a new quilt for my bed! We have a queen, but I generally make my bed quilts king, giving it more of a drape I like. Above is a picture of a fq, and how I'm trying to utilize every square inch of each precious print. Yes, I trace my templates with Sharpie, lol, the tip on the fabric markers are just too thick for my liking. I currently have cut 19 of the 22 fat quarters and the pieces are in the hundreds. This project will probably be an on-going one for awhile. =)
