Garden Party Quilt Finished!

For anyone following along on this quilt's progress (you know who you 2 are, lol), you already know I started cutting this quilt out here and updated my progress here and now she's finished and I just ADORE her! =D This is the first quilt I've stippled with colored thread, a Gutermann teal/green color.

Here's an overlap of the front and back.

The front.

The back.

Close-up of the selvedges that were including from all the prints I had of this line.

The binding was made using one piece from every print that was included in this quilt.

Close-up of the colorful binding! I just LOVE this picture!

This is the 4th quilt I've made and have to say I'm very proud of what I've accomplished being pretty new to the quilt world. =)

Also, I have been doing a few other things the past month...
Sewing trash cans, free pattern from Oh Frannson.

Denyse Schimdt's Posies in Raisin decor weight, McCall pattern.

Buttercup Bag, free pattern from Made by Rae.

Finger-puppet felt bunnies, free pattern from The Purl Bee.

Now to just finish the Good Folks quilt I previously started and 2 pillows I've cut out and then I'll be getting deep into hexagon quilting, which I hope to share soon! =)

  2. Holly, just wanted to answer your question about the iron and ironing board. I bought them both at Pottery Barn Kids a little over a year ago. They still carry them both but they have changed them in style/design a bit. Your garden party quilt is gorgeous!!
